Genuine Adventure provide outdoor activities and experiences for everyone across the UK but mainly around the Lake District. Offering activities such as archery, tag archery, paddle boarding, guided walking and much more.<\/p>\n

The Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since their launch in 2021, Genuine Adventures have had a digital presence but going into 2023 they had big expansion plans. They were to expand their list of activities and launch collaborations with local groups and facilities. They wanted a new website which reflected their passion for the outdoors and provided the functionality they needed to fully promote them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their founder, Dan, had decided to begin working with a new online booking system and the website needed to be easy to manage and expand without requiring constant support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having approached a series of Cumbrian website design companies they had been left frustrated by a lack of response, and the contact they did receive resulted in unrealistic quotes and communication that made them feel fairly unimportant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tall Marketing made an immediate approach to meet Dan face to face to learn more about the company and discuss his requirements in detail. During that initial conversation we were able to learn about their expansion plans and give him the attention the project deserves. Dan discussed the fact he\u2019d built and managed his current website himself and was happy to take on a lot of the content build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this point we were able to agree to a project which would involve Tall Marketing building the key pages, which would then provide Dan with a series of templates he could use to build out the website in his own time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were able to provide a unique proposal based on Dan\u2019s current knowledge and desired functionality. The solution would include website hosting, full testing and the assurance of a long standing relationship. A further meeting also took place to confirm the proposal and kick start the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The website has been built using WordPress which allows Dan to manage and build the content with ease. It also allowed us to supply a website that met all Dan\u2019s expectations within budget. Training via an online screen share has also been provided to show Dan all the tools available to him to build the content himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The home page features an impressive header video and every page makes use of striking imagery. Their chosen booking system is integrated on each page, alongside a dedicated bookings page. The website also includes an interactive map which allows Genuine Adventures to mark all the locations they deliver activities, and filter for each activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new website looks great on all devices and is hosted on our servers allowing us to provide a comprehensive service moving forwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once live we also performed a one-off SEO review of the content an submitted the new sitemap to search engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
